5 Great Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is more than just a tasty salad dressing ingredient. It can be used as a health tonic or a cleaning product, or kept in the bathroom as a beauty essential.

Here are just some of the useful ways you can use apple cider vinegar:

1. Use Apple Cider Vinegar as an All-purpose Health Tonic

Dilute a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water for a refreshing drink with a host of health benefits. It is suggested that drinking apple cider vinegar can help the body maintain a healthy pH level, detox the liver, aid digestion, support weight loss and boost the immune system. For best results, use organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (pregnant women are advised against using unpasteurised products, so please check the label and check with your doctor if unsure).

2. Use Apple Cider Vinegar as a Hair Treatment

To use apple cider vinegar as a hair treatment, fill an empty shampoo bottle with a tablespoon of vinegar, and a cup of plain water. Wash your hair as usual, then use this tonic several times a week to increase shine and volume. Simply pour through your hair and rinse thoroughly.

3. Use Apple Cider Vinegar as a Teeth Whitener

Struggling to shift those coffee stains from your teeth? Brush with a little apple cider vinegar to lift all kinds of food stains. Rinse well after use.

4. Use Apple Cider Vinegar as a Blemish Remedy

Apple cider vinegar is great for clearing up acne and problem skin. It can be used topically or added to your diet. Dilute a small amount of apple cider vinegar in water, and apply to pimples and blemishes with a clean cotton swab. This treatment helps to dry out the blemish, and will leave you with clean, clear skin. You may like to replace your regular toner with this simple, natural alternative.

5. Use Apple Cider Vinegar as a Natural Cleaner and Disinfectant

Apple cider vinegar can be used around the house to clean and disinfect, without using those nasty chemical cleaners! Pour apple cider vinegar into a spray and dilute with water for an instant spray-and-wipe cleaner. It has natural antibacterial properties, and leaves a great, fresh smell. Use apple cider vinegar with bicarbonate soda (also known as baking soda) to lift dirt and grime - it works easily on stove tops and shower scum!

These should get you started, but the list of uses for apple cider vinegar could go on forever. Be sure to stock up during your next shopping trip and try it out for yourself.
