Nutri-Blast Nutrition Powder
I've never been one for taking any kind of powders, whether it is a protein powder or a nutrition powder or any other green powder. It always occurred to me as something body builders drink when they're trying to gain muscle.

That should have been my first clue that perhaps something was missing since my skinny frame isn't exactly bulging with muscle! That and a few chin ups, squats and bench presses perhaps!

Either way, when I agreed to try Nutri-Blast's Nutrition Powder I was dubious about the effect it would have. I was promised noticeable improvement in energy after a week or so. But there was nothing overly concerning in the whopping 60 vegan ingredients listed on the label, many of these organic, so I decided to give it a go.

Nutri-Blast, which is made by Healthelicious Foods, contains numerous beneficial fruits, vegetables and proteins, including broccoli, chia seeds, alfalfa, celery, chlorella, carrot, beetroot, kale, lucuma, maca, turmeric, cilantro, acai berry, and the list goes on! The only ingredients you might be wary of is if you prefer to stay away from supplements, such as Vitamin C, Choline, Vitamin D3 and Potassium Citrate.

Does Nuti-Blast Improve Energy and Health?

Being full of energy in the mornings is not my forte, so I was keen to test it out and see if it made any difference. After 3 weeks on Nutri-Blast's Nutrition Powder, to be honest, I haven't notice a huge amount of difference in energy. If anything, perhaps it has regularised my energy levels, so I feel more awake during the day and sleep better at night.

The other important thing to note is I tried the kids' version. The adults' version is a bit stronger, and includes gingko biloba, ginseng and a few other stronger "energy lifting" ingredients.

The difference I did notice, however, was with my digestive health, and perhaps my health overall. A warning though, if you don't have a super digestion or all natural diet, you might notice a few upsets over the first week, notably stool that is too hard to pass. Don't force it! It will sort itself out.

A niggling abdominal pain that I've had for weeks completely disappeared while taking Nutri-Blast's Nutrition Powder. This could be a coincidence but it was a great relief nonetheless! I've also noticed much healthier bowel movements and fewer episodes of nausea or "sick feelings" after eating.

Of course, there are other ways to improve your diet and make it "greener", and I would generally prefer to get my nutrients from the real food source, but if you can find a way to get all the super ingredients contained in Nutri-Blast's Nutrition Powder into your diet then please let me know! It's also incredibly easy to incorporate into your daily routine. You can add it to water or juice, or pop a small teaspoonfull into smoothies or on your breakfast cereal.

What's the Cost?

The adult's version of Nutri-Blast Nutrition Powder costs $72 for a 400g tub, or $45 if you buy 4 tubs, while the kids' version costs $48 for 200g or $30 if you buy 4. There is also a vegan version which costs the same as the adult version. These are available to purchase online.

Healthelicious Foods is better known for their nutrition bars. You can find a full list of their products and prices here.
